about me

I gained my Diploma in Clinical and Advanced Hypnosis (DipCAH)
from the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences.
The Diploma course is one of the most rigorous courses of Hypnotherapy
available, requiring students to pass the Hypnotherapy Practitioner
Diploma (HPD)
accredited jointly by the National Council for
Hypnotherapy (NCH)
and the independent accrediting body the NCFE.

I am a member of the National Council for Hypnotherapy and the National
Guild of Hypnotists (USA).
The NCH is a leading regulator of
hypnotherapists in the UK. Members adhere to a strict code of ethics,
commit to continued professional development and ensure the highest
standard of professional conduct in all client dealings.

In addition to this I undergo regular supervision which is a vital requirement of membership and one to which all members of the association must adhere.

HOW I WORK

I take a client centred approach to therapy, simply put, I don’t assume
that what works for one person will work just as well for another. I work
in a goal oriented manner which means that I work closely with the client
to understand what their desired outcome of therapy is and I tailor my
therapy accordingly. I use my skills and techniques in a positive and
friendly manner and the comfort and well being of my clients is always my
priority.
